Have you seen this pest?
Carolin Weser, a NZDFI PhD student, is asking people to look out for two different eucalypt pests this summer – the Eucalyptus variegated beetle (EVB) – Paropsisterna cloelia), and the Eucalyptus tortoise beetle (Paropsis charybdis). Carolin is most keen to learn of any populations of EVB (Pst. cloelia) as it is a relatively new arrival, and we need to know more about its rate of spread.
