New trials planted
NZDFI will establish eight new trial sites this spring, thanks to the continued enthusiasm of landowners across the North Island and northern South Island to host the trials. The first three sites were planted at the end of August, two on Landcorp Farming properties in Northland, and the third on a cut-over site at Jeremy Thomson’s farm in Taranaki (pictured on the home page).
Further sites will be planted in September in Hawke’s Bay, Central North Island, and Marlborough, bringing the total number of NZDFI trials to 39.
